Spanish Captain Sergio Busquets was first to test positive for the virus after the 0-0 draw with Portugal. This news was a huge blow for the Spanish fans ahead of the Euro 2021 Tournament. Both Llorente and Busquets are set to isolate for 10 days which will rule them out of the country’s first two group fixtures against Sweden and Poland.
With that result, the Spanish U-21 squad stepped in to play the final warm-up game against Lithuania that was supposed to be played by the Spanish senior squad. The Spanish U-21 beat Lithuania 4-0.
